LIP BLUSHING

$600

Lip blushing is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique that enhances the natural color and shape of the lips. This procedure is also known as lip tattooing, lip micropigmentation, or lip tinting. Lip blushing is often chosen by individuals who want to achieve a more defined lip contour, correct uneven lip color, or add a subtle tint to their lips.

Lip Blushing Procedure

Here is an overview of the lip blushing tattoo procedure:

Consultation: the process starts with a consultation between you and the technician. You will discuss your desired lip color, shape, and overall look. The technician will also assess your natural lip color, skin tone, and facial features.
Numbing: a topical numbing cream or gel is applied to the lips to minimize discomfort (usually 15-30 minutes).
Color Selection: the technician helps you choose a pigment color that complements your natural lip color or achieves your desired result. Lip blushing can enhance your natural tone or create a slightly more vibrant shade.
Lip Blushing Technique: using a handheld machine or manual tool with fine needles, the technician deposits pigment into the upper layers of the skin, creating a soft, natural-looking tint and following your natural lip contour for shape and symmetry.
Building Color Gradually: the technician builds the color gradually so you can assess the saturation and request adjustments if needed.
Wiping and Checking: throughout the process, the technician wipes the lips to remove excess pigment and ensure the color and shape remain consistent.
Healing Solution: once the procedure is complete, a healing solution or ointment may be applied to aid healing and reduce inflammation.

After Care Instructions

  • Avoid moisture: keep the lip blushed area dry for at least 7-10 days. Avoid swimming, saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers.
  • No sun exposure: avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds for at least two weeks.
  • No makeup on the treated lips: avoid applying lipsticks, lip balms, lip gloss, or other products directly on the treated area for at least one week.
  • Gentle cleansing: clean gently with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser and water, then pat dry with a clean lint-free cloth.
  • Avoid scratching or picking: do not scratch, pick, or peel scabs. Let them fall off naturally to avoid pigment disruption.
  • No excessive sweating: avoid intense workouts, saunas, and hot yoga for at least one week after the procedure.
  • Avoid touching: refrain from touching your lips with your hands to reduce bacteria exposure.
  • Avoid retinoids and AHA/BHA products: avoid retinoids, AHAs, and BHAs on the treated lips during healing.
  • Healing ointment: apply the healing ointment provided or recommended by your technician, following their instructions.
  • Avoid harsh skincare treatments: avoid facial treatments, chemical peels, and laser procedures on or around the lips until fully healed.
  • Follow-up appointment: attend your scheduled follow-up so the technician can assess pigment settling and perform touch-ups if needed.
  • Healing varies: individual healing experiences may vary. If you have concerns or notice unusual reactions, contact your technician for guidance.
